Peggy MahoneyPeggy Mahoney joined The Frager Law Firm in April 2005 and serves as the court based paralegal in the firm. Ms. Mahoney is a native of Pensacola Florida, and has resided in Cordova, Tennessee since 1998. In the summer of 1987 after graduating from high school in Pensacola Florida, she took part in a college European Studies Tour, in which she earned her Humanities credits at Pensacola Junior College. She then went on to earn her Associates of Arts degree from Pensacola Junior College in Pensacola in 1990. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Primary and Elementary Education from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida in December 1993. She worked as a tutor in the Chapter One program while working on her undergraduate degree, and after graduation from The University of West Florida she worked as a substitute teacher with the Escambia County Schools in Pensacola. She was a primary education classroom teacher in Pensacola from 1994 to 1996. In the fall of 1996 she moved to Stoneham, MA and worked at Addison Wesley Longman-Scott-Foresman, a division of Pearson Education in Reading, MA. She worked as a Customer Service Representative in the Schools Division until December 1997. She then returned to Pensacola for a short time before taking a teaching position in Olive Branch, Mississippi in 1998, and moved to Cordova, Tennessee to be closer to her family. Ms. Mahoney worked for the DeSoto County Schools as a second grade teacher until 2001. In the summer of 2001, she traveled extensively through Ireland and Australia. In the fall of 2001, she returned to school at the University of Memphis full time and began working on her Paralegal Certification. She completed her paralegal certification in December 2004. She has been active in the past with raising money for the Alzheimer's Association. Ms. Mahoney lives in Cordova, TN with her family and 3 dogs. |
