Kimberly Ogden Sutton is a native of
Louisiana, where she attended high school at the
Louisiana School
for Math, Science and the Arts. She earned an MA in Speech-Theatre (Administration) (cum laude) from
Louisiana Tech University
in 1999. She earned a BA in Speech-Theatre (cum laude) from
Louisiana Tech University
in 1997, where she was a National Merit Scholar.
Ms. Sutton earned a J.D. from
University of Memphis
, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2006. At the
University of Memphis
, she was the recipient of the Herbert Herff Law Scholarship and Cecil C. Humphreys Law Fellowship. She participated in the Freshman Moot Court Competition and the Family Law Clinic. In addtition, she wrote for the Tennessee Journal of Practice and Procedure, and was also awarded the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Method (Best Appellate Brief).
Ms. Sutton has been a
Memphis
resident since 1999. She is married and has a beautiful five year old daughter. She remains passionate about the arts (especially theatre), and hopes to become more involved with the incredible artistic community in the
Memphis
area.
Ms. Sutton is admitted to the practice of law in
Tennessee
